How to access the Get help with technology service
You need to be invited to use this service by the Department for Education, or by someone from your state-funded school, college, FE institution, trust or local authority education team who has access.
You cannot access this service with your DfE Sign-in account.
Everyone with access can:
- see who else has an account within their organisation
- add or edit existing accounts.
Logging onto the service
You can log onto the service via the sign in link using your registered email address.
If your email address is recognised and you have an account, we’ll send you a link to sign in.
If your email address is not recognised
If your email address is still not recognised, please speak to someone at your organisation that has an account.
You’ll need to ask them to sign into the service, view your account details and amend if necessary, or add you to the service.
Managing user accounts
Registered users can amend their own or their colleagues’ account details by signing in and selecting ‘Manage users’.
On this page, you’ll be able to view all the users registered to your organisation’s account.
You can amend:
- email address
- telephone number
- allow user to order – this option will create a TechSource ordering account
Please ensure that your contact details, and those of other registered users, are up to date so that you do not miss any important communications.
You can also invite and remove colleagues from the service.
If you are unable to access the service, and colleagues at your organisation are unable to help, you can contact us.
